"A game about friendship" Oh, I love fantasy games!

So sweet I love how you made characters' expressions so well with so few pixels. Great work T-T!!

Thank you so so much ๐Ÿฅบ

I cannot agree with the "need a new computer" sentiment wholeheartedly. More precisely, if the programmers didn't have such powerful computers, they would be optimising software better! Which would be greener for all users :P

The description of rain, though... I also like the rain <3

And when I'm looking for "atmospheric games", this sort of game is what I'm looking for, not reams of horror XD

My only "Horror" favourite is that hunchbacked book from "The Pagemaster". Other than that it's either yucky... or I begin to need to turn the lights on at night, heh! :D

Hahahahaha thank you! I tend not to agree either, my newest computer is 5 years old at this point, but I'm not Fuyuko!
Super glad you liked the game!

This is sweet. Thank you, dev.

Thank you!

I would like to see this in actual p5.js, is there anyway i could open it through there? This is such a cute game and so much fun to play through Id love to see the code.

Thank you so much! I think that if you download the game, you'll get the source because it's a JavaScript + P5 game.

And I, too, would love to see the code ;)

Alas, the download only contains the soundtrack - "Download" under the HTML5 brings me the same place as "Download" above the comments:

A sweet, cute game. :) This is the first time I've played a game in such a tiny format! The music and sound effects were charming too. Nicely done.

This game was such a treat! Thank you for making this. I love rain too, and the whole vibe of the game was amazing. It made me think of the little things that we usually miss appreceating in life. Wonderful soundtrack as well! One day I plan to make my own little games too, and yours has only inspired me more to do so :)
Cheers and have a great day!

Thank you so, so much! I'm so glad you liked it! I hope you can make your own games too, best of luck! Great day to you too!

This was such an adorable & chill experience! I love the simplicity of the story. Makes me wish that I was in their friend group lol! I also love the music & art style. Wonderful job!

Thank you very much! I'm super, super happy you liked it! There's a sequel if you are interested, no pressure though. I'll watch the video asap! Thanks! ๐Ÿ˜Š

(+1)

I am very much interested & I just played the sequel! Great job on both! Thanks for checking out my video as well! :)

Thank you!

Pardon me if this is an odd question but! I am very curious! How did you get the text beeps to work? It's been a hot minute since I've made a VN, and I could never figure that out

(+1)

Haha, no problem. I have made two beep sounds for each character. Every time I print a letter I play one at random. That's it! I made the beep sounds using a NES soundfont in FL Studio. Does this answer your question? ๐Ÿค”

That is super helpful, thank you! I'm going to try to implement that next time I make a game. Thanks so much!

(+1)

Hahaha, you are welcome! If you have more questions feel free to ask me whatever you need c:

(+2)

I just played and captivated me right away, a beautiful pixel art, funny dialogues and everything well fitted in a 64x64 resolution. Congratulations ^^

This game is delightgful! It definetely lives up to all the tags it has.

(+1)

Haha, thank you very, very much!

(+1)

This game is really interesting and lovely! And the art is beautiful. By curiosity, did Fuyuko manage to have her super computer?

(+1)

Haha, thank you! Yes, Fuyuko got the computer in the end. They ate paninis and then played some very scary FPSs (with the lights on).

(+2)

This is a really sweet game, and I'm amazed you were able to create a visually interesting yet easy-to-read visual novel with such restrictions!

Thank you very much! I'm really happy you like it!
